| How to buy | Appleberry Orchard is owned and farmed by Ryan and Jessica Welch, and includes 22 acres of apple orchards, a petting farm, children's play area, and a beautiful farm market. The first apple tree was planted on this property in 1852, making this the oldest working orchard in the state of Iowa. We are open seasonally Aug - Oct with fresh fall produce including apples, apple cider, pumpkin, gourds, squash and much more! Agritainment includes Appleberry Acres play area & Petting Farm, corn maze and additional weekend wagon rides, pig races, scavenger hunt, Mega slide, paintball, food concessions and much more. Our farm market store includes Iowa made products including local honey, sorghum, salsa, dressings, sauces, syrups, hard cider, wine, gifts and more. Our bakery features fresh, homemade Apple Cider Donuts, pies, breads, cookies and much more made fresh daily.
