| How to buy | The Farm Fresh Atlas publishes this farm's own description: "At Kaleidoscope Gardens we grow diversified vegetables, culinary herbs, select flowers, and bedding plants. We grow what we want to eat focusing on unique and delicious varieties that are produced with as few inputs as possible. Our practices go beyond organic standards and our goal is to eventually grow without the use of anything sold in a bag. Our plants are started in certified organic potting soil and our only fertilizer is certified organic compost. The farm operates a greenhouse space on the south side of Milwaukee, a quarter acre of county land in Oak Creek, and a couple of home gardens in the City of Milwaukee. We are truly a human-powered operation; we plant, cultivate, and harvest by hand. Our produce is cleaned, washed, and stored to optimize flavor and freshness. It is our pleasure to do this work and bring you food and garden plants that we are proud to have grown."
