The farm describes itself this way: Wilkerson Farm was started in 2010 as a fruit and vegetable farm. Despite many different models (direct-to-consumer, farmers market, CSA), the produce sales were not enough to sustain the farm for the future. Fortunately, in 2015 we recognized a growing trend in pumpkin sales and added our first corn maze, so we began transitioning from produce dirt farming into farm-themed recreation. Our mission is to share the beauty of farmland with local families while maintaining the equipment and skills needed for local food |
