How to buyWe grow and sell vegetables. We also produce and sell a special kind of soap. All our soaps are handmade, and our soap's formula is the same to the ounce with the exception of the fragrance. When possible we like to use essential oils (herbs) for fragrance, however there are so many new oils available that are popular and are not herbal, we use fragrances that are appealing, fragrant and safe, and are made especially for soaps. Handmade also means that the bars are cut by hand and are irregularly shaped. This is intentionally done to remind you that they are handmade. Most important, these soaps contain glycerin. This is a natural phenomena mixing oil, water, heat and sodium hydroxide. (Lye) that creates glycerin. Like ninety nine percent of all soaps it is safe and beneficial to the body but beware of keeping it from the eyes! Glycerin is great for the skin no matter the age.. It opens the pores for complete cleansing and gives the skin a healing process. All soaps on the market today save one, is not soap. The glycerin has been removed. They are then considered a detergent which has its good points and bad points. Itas good for dishes and clothes, but does nothing for the skin. Because of the glycerin, our soap will last up to three times longer than other 'soaps'! We use coconut oil known as being rich in Laurie, and is in the solid state when the temperature is below seventy six degrees. It is probably the most used oil in soap making using the hot or cold process because it produces a thick and wonderful lather. It also helps the soap maintain more moisture and at the same time helps the whitening and hardening of the final product. Our soap contains Vitamin E oil, Tea Tree oil, and Aloe Vera .It all helps to keep a healthy skin. Use it once and you'll notice immediately the softness of your skin. MarketMaker lists these products: Crops & Agricultural Products, Hot Peppers (Chili Peppers), Okra, Peppers, Summer Squash, Tomatoes, Vegetables. It lists how it sells: Farmers Market Vendor, On-Farm.
