Good to knowThe market and garden center are open Monday to Saturday 8am to 6pm year round. Pick your own hours change through the season and the farm posts current availability on its own site; at the end of August it showed strawberries, cherries, blackberries, blueberries and peaches all closed, with blackberry field hours of Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9am to 4pm and Saturday 9am to 3pm. In its own words: "When widespread rain events occur, we may delay our opening time or close early. Please call 717-872-9311 to confirm during these times." The farm describes itself as the largest pick your own fruit farm, farm market and garden center in Lancaster, uses integrated pest management including mating disruption, and added 750 solar panels in 2011 producing over 230,000 kilowatt hours.
