How to buyThey bottle their own milk in returnable glass bottles, whole, 2 percent and fat free, plus cream, chocolate milk, buttermilk and ice cream. The store also carries ground beef and beef cuts, and local bacon, butter, sausage, frozen pies, honey and jams. The farm goes back to 1839 when Bill Brunton bought land in Independence Township, and the family calls it a seventh generation dairy farm. They started processing milk in 1962, went to glass bottles in 1968, added chocolate milk in 1984 and ice cream in 2003. A rebuilt cow barn and milk processing plant came online in 2025. They say, We believe in sustainable dairy farming with healthy cows, delicious milk, and all around good products.
