We are working to restore the health of our 12 acres that was previously used as a tobacco farm. By grazing cattle, goats, pigs, and a variety of fowl we are giving the land back the nutrients and organic matter that the tobacco took from it. The resulting meat and eggs are a delicious byproduct of working with nature. Our Idaho Pasture Pig pork is deep red in color, perfectly marbled, and packed with nutrients. We supplement our animals diets with non-GMO, locally sourced, and soy free feed that is milled right here in NC. Pastured animals soak up the vitamins and minerals from the sun and grass and pass them along to us in our food. Basically, we're turning sunshine into bacon! Taste the difference today!"
