The farm's own description in the guide: "Trust Land Farm is a mixed vegetable and flower farm located in Missoula, Montana that offers produce directly to our community through an on-farm stand and to local restaurants. The 8-acre farm site is the first community land trust farm (CLT) in Montana. As of 2024, the CLT farm site will remain permanently in agriculture and Trust Land Farm has a long-term lease on the site. Owner Ellie Costello started farming on this very same farmland in 2011 and since then has spent her warm seasons growing produce with small-scale sustainable farms from the Bitterroot northward to the Mission valleys." |
