We aim to produce highly nutritious, natural vegetables that will enhance you and your family's health and well-being. The land is unique. The soil is traveled hay ground. The current plots contain a range of 8-24 inches of topsoil and we have begun the process of helping the soil heal itself with compost, manure and cover crops. The goal is to regenerate its vitality and look forward to improvement. Our organic matter clocked in at 14% which is not bad for a first soil test. There are worms here and that is a good thing. La Salle Family Farm operates with humility in this new family adventure. We rely on the experiential knowledge." |
