The farm's own description in the guide: "Our family has been ranching in the Boulder Valley of Montana for 6 generations, and this business is a celebration of our lifestyle, which honors the land and animals in our care. Devils Fence Beef is truly a labor of love. We believe in hard work and transparency concerning our entire beef to table process. The Devils Fence namesake comes from the geologic area on the south end of the Elkhorn Mountains, a large red rock formation created by a thrusted plate that forms a natural fence and is circular from an aerial view."
