The farm's own description in the guide: "Brovold Orchard is a community resource to be used and enjoyed Alberton friends and neighbors. 50 fruit trees were planted by Norman Brovold in 1982. Over the years, the orchard has come to be treasured by the people of Alberton, who are grateful for Norman's generosity in sharing the orchard's abundance. Unfortunately, Norman passed away after a long illness in May 2022. Though he is no longer with us physically, his spirit guides us as we continue to share his orchard with the community. The public is welcome to pick fruit from the orchard in season, pending availability. Watch for notifications on our Facebook page when the fruit is ripe and ready to pick.
