| How to buy | Growing south Mississippi tea (Camellia Sinensis) since 2006. We are USDA GAP certified with over 10,000 tea plants and a complete tea processing center. Tea brand names included Pearl River Black, JD Black and Blue, Gingerbread, JD Earl Grey, hand rolled green and more. Products can be found in Mississippi grocery, health food stores, and the Genuine MS® Store. Our farm is located in Pearl River County, 85 miles north from New Orleans, and 35 miles northwest from Gulfport. Tea harvest starts with the Royal Southern Flush in mid-March which the best green teas are made and ends with a Southern winter cut usually in very early November. Tours and tea parties are welcome by appointment only. Local grocery stores and health food outlets enjoy having locally grown and produced products, especially if it is a positive healthy food or beverage. Tea is the most widely consumed beverage in the world; 80 percent of the world drink some type of tea. If you live in the Southern USA you probably drinking sweet tea! But none was grown here until now! Pearl River Tea hopes to be in all regional grocery stores in the south and served at every restaurant that offers ice tea.
