| How to buy | Mauthe Farms, LLC is a 3rd and 4th generation dairy farm owned and operated. We strive to deliver fresh wholesome dairy products to businesses and consumers in Louisiana and Mississippi. Our family has deep Louisiana roots in New Orleans Lower 9th Ward dating back to 1933 where Henry Mauthe Sr had a dairy and delivered milk door-to-door with Henry Mauthe Jr following in his footsteps. Our milk is only pasteurized NOT homogenized as most store bought milk is, and comes from cows that are grass-grazed. Grass is a cow's natural diet. Grazing improves their health, physical fitness, and fertility. Milk from grass grazed cows is higher in omega 3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid(CLA), which have wonderful health benefits for humans. Our sweet Momma's are raised in their natural environment where they are able to eat nutritious grass and other plants that their bodies are adapted to digest. In addition to the health benefits it supplies to the consumer, it also helps reduce environmental damage. Mauthe Farms, LLC believes that the key to a healthy and balanced lifestyle starts with a person's diet. That is why we only supply our customers with the very best pasteurized, not homogenized, milk one can get in the Gulf South area. If you are looking for top quality products, you've come to the right place! Today we are making PROGRESS happen by taking a step back to yesteryear and bottling milk on our farm in glass bottles. We take PRIDE in our heritage. The fourth generation of Mauthe dairy farmers have their eyes set on the future and their hearts on farming. Our 40 acre farm is located in the small community of in Southwest Mississippi about three miles from the Louisiana line. We are proud to bring to you a full line of dairy products from our own cows. We are a grass based dairy, feeding only a small amount of grain in the barn while milking. Genuine MS lists this farm's products as Milklady Cheesecakes, Creole Cream Cheese, Butter, Whole Milk Plain Yogurt, Buttermilk, Heavy Cream, Chocolate Milk, Skim Milk, Reduced Milk and Whole Milk. |
