| How to buy | We produce grass fed beef, pastured pork, and pastured eggs humanely on pasture. The meat we produce is slaughtered and processed on our farm under federal inspection. No exceptions. The Bartlett family has farmed the Home Place for 150 years. The 5th generation starts the next chapter by running a regenerative livestock operation on our land east of Como, Mississippi. Please join us as we regenerate our land, raise wholesome food, and revitalize our rural economy. The quality of fresh, local pork and beef raised humanely on pasture speaks for itself. Our meats taste like they are supposed to, reminiscent of a time when the meat we ate was much more local, healthy, and raised in our communities. The fact that we raise, harvest, and process on our farm in a USDA facility also gives us control of each part of the production process, ensuring the highest quality throughout. We are also able to provide premium market opportunities for our skilled local farmers, and create jobs right here in rural Mississippi. Our beef is certified grass fed and Certified Humane, and our pork is pasture raised and Certified Humane. Our meat is produced without the use of antibiotics, growth promotants, synthetic fertilizers, or herbicides and pesticides. We are proud to produce meat for our community and create good jobs right here in Mississippi. The quality of our beef and pork has landed us on the menus of the best restaurants from Nashville to New Orleans, but what really makes us proud is feeding our neighbors and community members right here in Mississippi. We are proud to display the Genuine MS label and help create a truly regional food supply system that supports farmers, regenerates our farm land, and produces top quality meat for Mississippi families.
