How to buyWe are Kate Mahaffey and Nathan Dore. We have maintained our 8 acres of blueberries in Pittston, Maine since 2009. We named our business Slow Rise Farm because our blueberry fields are on a beautiful slow rise towards the top of Blinn Hill in the Dresden/Pittston area and we like the reminder to take things "slow" in this fast-paced time. In 2020, we leased another 11 acres of wild blueberries down the road.
Tillage & soilThis farm has not published how it works its soil, so we are not going to guess. If you farm here, tell us and we will add it. See the farms that do say.
