How to buyTreasure Acres Farm has a long and interesting history dating back to the 1950's. Starting as a cattle sale barn for World Champion bred cattle, people, specifically wealthy people, came from near and far to spend thousands of dollars on World Champion show cattle. As we continue to grow our site, we plan to add more and more snippets into the history of Treasure Acres. Laura and I took over the farm in 2006 and have been expanding production each year. Currently, we raise Baby Doll Sheep, Mini Silky Fainting goats, Idaho Pasture pigs, and meat chickens seasonally. Our two Great White Pyrenees pups, Finn and Lottie, watch over the farm for us. In the past, we have also raised other animals like Scottish Highland cattle, donkeys, and ducks. Our newest buzz is that we became beekeepers, maintaining around 30 colonies annually. Laura uses a lot of our honey in products such as strawberry honey jam, blueberry honey jam, and her famous Scotch-A-Roos! We also make whipped and spicy honey of different flavors, both of which use our natural ingredients grown right here at Treasure Acres. In our gardens, we have switched our focus to more fruits and berries which we use to make all of our jams and flavoring for honey. Currently, we grow blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, honeyberries, and strawberries. Adding to that, we have 30+ apple, cherry, and peach trees. On the vegetable side, we grow and sell tomatoes, peppers, asparagus, onions, garlic, green beans, squash, and other items when available such as sweet corn. Looking forward, projects include homemade soap, candles, and "on farm classes". For all of our local, loyal customers remember you do not need to order through the website, you may contact us like you have in the past. If you do place an order online, we can arrange pick up or drop offs. As always, we appreciate your support of our local business!
