Each grew up helping around the family farm at a very young age. The couple met in 2018, with their first date being a tractor ride. Ashley stole Kerry's heart when she confessed she "wanted to be a farmer when she grew up". While continuing their childhood family farms was not an option, having that type of lifestyle was something that was deeply desired. In 2019, leaving chance to fate (or the persistent hand of a friend), they purchased their "home farm" on auction. It's been a labor of love, transforming the once-was dairy farm back into a functioning farmstead - and even a (temporary) wedding venue! |
