In the farm's own words on the state map: "Daigle Farm is a regenerative 1st generation farm that specializes in pasture raised chicken, pork, and thanksgiving turkeys, We grow a wide variety of vegetables and offer sourdough breads and baked goods to make a truly well balanced meal. We offer home delivery all year all over northeast and southeast Connecticut". The Connecticut Grown map lists it under Farms, Livestock and Farm Stands/Stores, Agritourism. In the farm's own words on the state map: "Daigle Farm is a first generation permaculture farm, and our motto is "Simply Growing Food" because that's what we are doing! We keep it simple without the use of synthetic fertilizers or sprays, and we are a low till farm focusing on the longevity of our soil and land. Our main focus is vegetable production, laying hens, pasture raised broiler chickens, and pork. We offer home delivery on all of our goods, and have a seasonal farm stand open April-December. We also offer different pop-up seminars and classes on the farm for many different farming subjects, and we love to welcome school groups and volunteers looking to learn". |
